James A. Kalicki Esq., CPA

Jamie received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno. He began his career working as a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service. In the early 1990’s he moved to the private sector working for Horning, Holmberg & Company, CPAs, where he became a Certified Public Accountant.
Jamie received his law degree in 1995 from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. He gained valuable experience working as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Springer, Chief Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court. In early 2000, Jamie formed Kalicki Law Offices, Ltd. which later became Kalicki Collier, LLP. Jamie’s practice focuses on estate planning and tax planning, business planning and development, and asset protection. Jamie services the needs of his clients throughout Nevada and California.

John A. Collier Esq.
Probate, Business, Litigation and Family Law
John is a licensed attorney in the State of Nevada. He devotes his practice to commercial and general litigation, including contract, real estate, and construction litigation. He has extensive experience in real estate development and business transactions. Additionally, John represents both landlords and tenants in commercial, industrial, retail leases, and investors and developers in the structuring of limited liability companies and corporations. Due to his extensive and diverse experience in litigation, John is the chief litigator and litigation strategist for the firm’s litigation matters.
John received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Chico in 1989, and his law degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge of Law in 1992. He gained valuable insight into the inner workings of the courtroom while serving as Law Clerk for the Honorable Mario Recanzone in the Third Judicial District Court of the State of Nevada.
John is a founding member of Kalicki Collier, LLP. For nearly twenty years prior to the formation of Kalicki Collier, LLP, John was a partner with the law firm of Hoffman, Test & Collier in Reno, Nevada.
Mark Goodman Esq.
Family Law, Bankruptcy, Intellectual Property, Patent, and Trademark
Mark received his Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkley in 2001 and his law degree in 2005 from the University of San Francisco Law with a focus in Intellectual Property Law. He is licensed to practice law in both Nevada, California, and nationally in proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, demonstrating a high level of understanding of patent law.
Mark is now the President of the Patent Holders Form and a member of the Nevada Inventors Association. Mark is a frequent public speaker and seminar presenter. He has been published in the Northern Nevada Business Weekly and was once a co-host of a local radio talk show.
Previously, Mark worked for the University of California Patent Licensing Office, the Law Firm of Fernandez & Associates, the Borson Law Group, and the Law firm of Kennedy & Associates. Mark relocated to Reno in 2007, and formed Goodman Law Center in Reno, Nevada. He joined Kalicki Collier in 2015.
Mark’s main practice area is Patent/Trademark Law. Mark also accepts matters in Debt Relief/Bankruptcy Law, and Family Law. Mark is also providing assistance with the firms Probate and Trust Administration Cases. Other types of cases are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Patrick Kealy, Esq.
Litigation, Personal Injury and Contracts
Patrick joined the firm in June 2018 and is a fourth generation Nevada attorney. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2010 and continued his education at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, where he earned his law degree in 2014. During law school, Patrick received the CALI Award for Excellence in both Torts and Individual Income Taxation.
Upon graduation, Patrick returned to Reno and has aggressively advocated for clients in a wide variety of matters, including commercial litigation and transactions, and personal injury disputes. Patrick has also served local and national clients with their lobbying efforts before the Nevada Legislature. In 2016, Patrick was a part of a successful lobbying initiative to relocate an NFL franchise to Las Vegas.
Sylvia Baldemor, Notary Public
Paralegal & Office Manager
Sylvia joined the firm in 2004 as paralegal to James A. Kalicki and has since that time become the office manager of Kalicki Collier. Sylvia’s experience includes, family law, civil litigation, Worker’s Compensation, estate planning and business formation.
